Play in a Week Camp

Does your child have a flair for the dramatic? Or an interest in what happens behind the scenes? Here’s a chance to get them involved in theater, without a long-term commitment. Kids will learn about all the various roles that go into putting on a play (both on stage and backstage). Led by experienced drama instructors, the group will develop and rehearse a unique and age-appropriate script, based on the super fun themes of Heroes and Villains (morning camps) or Mystery on the High Seas (afternoon camps). Since the camps will be totally different, kids may sign up for both. In addition to being part of the on-stage cast*, kids will also work to create sets, costumes and props, to help bring the story to life! Kids should bring a snack (no peanut products, please) and a bottle of water. The week-long workshop will culminate in a free Friday evening performance of the brand-new production for family and friends.

*if a child would rather not be on stage, he/she may still opt to assist with all other aspects and be part of the production as an assistant director, designer, or other important production role.
