A central part of the Tallgrass Theatre Company mission is to produce engaging, creative and challenging theatrical productions in an environment that is safe, supportive and inclusive for both our artists and audiences.
With the many uncertainties surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Board and Trust of Tallgrass Theatre Company believe that the best and most socially responsivle contribution to our community is to stay dark for the time being and to continue our search for a new home. A new home where TTC can once again produce live theatre in a safe, supportive and inclusive location.
Our world has changed. Social distancing has challenged some of the fundamental concepts of community theatre. From production team meetings, auditions, rehearsals, builds, performances, and finally, strike, creating theatre demands closeness. We feel it is important for our audiences, artists and donors to understand that it may take some time for us to adapt to our new world.
Our stage will remain dark for a little longer. How long? We can't say. Meanwhile, stay home, wash your hands, read a good play and we'll see you soon!
The Board of Directors and the Trust of Tallgrass Theatre Company continue to work on securing a new home for Tallgrass Theatre Company. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for additional details.
